I prefer to capture the essence of my subject representationally.  Engaging in that process is a personally meaningful experience. Rendering beauty soulfully gives me great pleasure.  I have no ambition as an artist beyond achieving the most exquisite impression of my subject that I can possibly render.

I cannot resist painting when I am moved by a subject.  A myriad of strokes, splashes, lines and dots, my work is a composite of line and color applied instinctively.

Original paintings provide the magic of art everytime you see them.  There is nothing like the joy emminating from a well executed painting.
